POLYPROPYLENE PACKAGING PRODUCTION
The polypropylene products plant, part of the "Progress Agro" group, was launched in January 2021. It was built as a result of an agreement between the Krasnodar Krai Government and the management of the "Progress Agro" group, concluded in 2019 at the Sochi Investment Forum. The production is located within the "Kuban" industrial park (Ust-Labinsk city).
The consumers of the products are agricultural and processing enterprises of the Southern Federal District.
The plant's capacity amounts to 8.6 million bags per year. These bags are designed for packaging sugar, flour, salt, starch, dry animal feed, and construction materials.
The plant also produces 1.6-meter polyethylene film, used in gardening, construction, thermal insulation and hydro-isolation of roofs, foundation laying, and protection against premature corrosion.
The polypropylene production plant is an environmentally friendly and zero-waste enterprise. With the implementation of energy-efficient technologies and incorporation of secondary product use, the production process is environmentally conscious. A specialized laboratory monitors the quality of the products and the environmental safety of the production.
Investments in the project amounted to 204 million rubles. The allocated funds were used to acquire the main technological lines produced domestically, as well as equipment from India and Taiwan.
The plant plans to further expand their product range and purchase auxiliary equipment.
